Bryan oversees the day-to-day operations of the KU Adidas Leadership Scholars program and works alongside a team of professional staff to provide individualized and intentional support to the Adidas Scholars throughout their time here at KU.  Bryan has previously worked at the Wyman Center in St. Louis; a youth development agency focused on educational success, college access, persistence, and social emotional learning. He served as Director of Wyman’s Teen Leadership Program (TLP) and was responsible for the management and oversight of TLP’s six-year college access and persistence program focused on youth leadership development, life and soft skills, college and career readiness, high school graduation, and post-secondary success and completion. Bryan has also previously worked with the education-focused service program City Year, where he served  in at-risk communities and schools in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana.  Bryan was born and raised in Bronx, New York and earned his Bachelors in Sociology from Hampton University. He also earned a master’s degree in social work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, with a focus on urban education and youth development.
