Those who start strongest lead.
The KU Adidas Leadership Scholars program is built around seven critical components that are designed to help Scholars get a jump-start on their academic career by guiding them towards the ultimate goal: GRADUATION. The program is open to incoming freshmen who identify as low income, first generation or an underrepresented minority.
The program is built to support students throughout their time at KU. The program begins with a six-week Summer Success Academy that includes two college courses, and is aimed at giving students a head start on their academic journey at KU. Throughout the school year students participate in programs geared towards academic success, major exploration, career preperation, and leadership development. During the summers scholars are expected to participate in an experiential learning opportunity to support academic and future goals.
